Dykema Gossett PLLC, a leading national law firm, is recruiting for an experienced Litigation Project Manager to support all Dykema offices. The Litigation Project Manager is responsible for administration of Relativity databases, the processing, preparation, uploading and production of e-discovery data, from any number of sources. The intake and tracking of all aspects of assigned departmental projects from any number of sources. This includes data in various formats: electronic documents, paper documents and data from other media sources (e.g., video). This position works in close conjunction with the additional Litigation Project Managers, Senior Litigation Project Manager, Senior E-Discovery Engineer and E-Discovery Engineer.

Essential In-office Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for verifying case specific configuration and instructions. Consult and provide guidance for case teams and clients during each step of the litigation process to ensure best practice goals are being met.
  • Create customized Relativity databases and set up user accounts insuring client data is secure.
  • Work with LAW Pre-Discovery and Relativity Processing to process electronic discovery received from clients, opposing counsel and other parties preserving chain of custody.
  • Upload processed and prepared data from all parties into Relativity environment for Dykema team review.
  • Responsible for running productions out of Relativity environment. Import and export document productions required to be sent to, and received from, various parties.
  • Ensure project guidelines and procedure are being met throughout the life cycle of a case by communicating routinely with the department team members. Responsible for culling data using reduction strategies such as de-duplication, searching, date range filtering, document type filtering and Analytics as requested.
  • Provide updates to the case teams regarding project progress and issues. Track and log incoming and outgoing project requests, productions and media containing document production data utilizing established departmental protocols.
  • Keep department members apprised of timeframes and deadlines related to processing, data loading and production project requests.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to assist with required services such as trial support services, scanning, OCR or coding not being performed at Dykema.
  • Monitor Relativity environment for issues and notify appropriate parties related to same.
  • Train legal teams and clients in the use of Relativity databases and best practice implementation.
  • Provide backup technical support for LAW Pre-Discovery, TextMap, and the Firm’s other litigation support applications.
  • Draft documentation related to problem resolutions.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

  • Certified or demonstrated expert knowledge in Relativity offerings.
  • Certified or demonstrated expert knowledge in LAW Pre-Discovery.
  • Five years’ experience with e-discovery processing technologies within a vendor, law firm, or corporate legal department.
  • In-depth understanding of the litigation support process, including database searching using DT Search searching parameters, reporting, scanning and coding procedures, electronic discovery management and document productions.
  • Ability to train and provide guidance to a wide range of people - attorneys, paralegals, administrator assistance, vendors, and others.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities/projects on an ongoing basis effectively. Resolve issues using unconventional methods.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on an “on call” basis. Must be available through telephone and/or wireless connectivity, providing after hours support when periodically required.
  • Primary responsibility around west coast litigation support needs and relationships.
  • Ability to travel to in state and out of state locations occasionally.

Skills Desirable But Not Required

Experience in use and administration of other litigation support software and technology: TextMap, Trial Director, video/audio editing software.

Job Description

Seneca Global Services
is looking to hire an experienced EHR Project Integration Manager to support our government client at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. The Project Integration Manager supports the Project Integration Manager ensuring quality project performance related to the deployment of the MHS Genesis electronic health record (EHR) system at military treatment facilities. This includes supporting the coordination and completion of training projects.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Provide overall direction to all project level activity and personnel interfaces with client personnel
  • Monitor performance indicators such as cost, timing, and manpower loading
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction
  • Keep management informed of project status and deviations
  • Review project schedules, performance, and deliverables for correctness and ensure their progress in accordance with the assigned timeline
  • Up to 20% travel

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three years’ experience supporting healthcare initiatives and projects
  • US Citizen with public trust clearance
  • Electronic Health Record experience, preferably in the military setting

Desired Qualifications

  • Three years’ experience working in the military healthcare environment
  • Understanding of the unique informatics architecture of the military
  • Operational (deployment) experience preferred
  • Clinical experience (i.e. RN or HM) preferred
