Perform the full range of contract and program administrative functions. This includes:

  • Monthly financial cadence, understanding (and preparing for) the general the ebb/flow of tasks (i.e. Month end is incredibly hectic as is the following week for reconciling)
  • Understanding of basic business financial documents, especially POs, and the terminology (payment terms, shipping terms, etc)
  • Monthly reconciliation of accounts (like balancing a checkbook but on steroids)
  • How to create and manage revenue and cost forecasting for entire projects/contracts
  • Complex milestone structures
  • Revenue recognition vs. billing as it relates to forecasting vs. billing
  • General financial terms and what they mean, such as amortization, journal entries, credit memos, etc.
  • Identifying and tracking all contractual requirements, including project progress, project delivery processes, invoicing, receivables, warranties, calendaring renewal dates, notice requirements, reporting requirements, and escrow agreement obligations.
  • Serve as the invoicing administrator and following up with customers regarding unpaid invoices as necessary.
  • Creating and maintaining revenue forecasts for assigned customer contracts.
  • Providing contractual summaries, analysis and interpretation throughout all deployment projects assigned.
  • Assuring project legal documents, such as non-disclosure agreements, letters of credit, and insurance policies, are in place.
  • Assisting project managers in creating and tracking project contracts and associated administrative processes.
  • Effectively communicating relevant project status to supporting and cross-functional team members of assigned contracts.
  • Degree from a recognized college or university, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred. Qualifying experience may substitute for the required education, such as paralegal certification or extensive experience in project administration and import process management.
  • At least four years relevant experience administering contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage concurrent projects in a self-motivated/driven fashion.
  • Familiar with typical legal and project delivery requirements defined in contracts along with the standard contract concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent analysis skills including ability to recognize and assess impacts on project execution.
  • Must demonstrate mature judgment and decision making and a history of proactive involvement in strategic issues and problem resolution.
  • Above-average communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work at an experienced level with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Sales Force and related Oracle ERP packages a plus.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work with teams of executives, management, engineers, and other project managers to coordinate and manage end-to-end cyber projects for the client. The capabilities may span from planning and management to engaging various business and technical teams to build project plans and review deliverables, manage team workload, monitor project costs, and escalate risks and issues. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
  • Manage project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
  • Drive, coordinate, and manage resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies
  • Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
  • Facilitate project discovery workshops
  • Lead project delivery technical team members on agile/scrum methodology

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Cyber experience related to few of the following domains:
    • Cyber Program Management
    • Cyber Risk Management
    • Identity & Access Management
    • Application Security/SDLC
    • Cloud Security
    • Data Protection
  • Knowledge of cyber security industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO27001/2, NIST cyber security framework).
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to new cyber principles quickly.
  • Travel up to 50-70% (While 50-70% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Undergraduate degree, with preferred concentration in technology, engineering, computer science, mathematics or business
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent certification is desired
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) /PMP Certification or equivalent is desired
  • Prior consulting experience preferable

Clinical Project Manager

Working within the Global Clinical Development (GCD) organization, the Clinical Project Manager is responsible for clinical trial management of multiple studies and may be subject matter expert for group or platform of assigned clinical studies including the planning, implementation, oversight, project management and completion of clinical trials conducted by GCD or Contract Research Organizations (CRO). This role serves as the project lead for studies of moderate to high complexity from protocol development through study conduct and closeout in compliance with Good Clinical Practices, and all Global, National and Local Regulations. Reports to and collaborates with Clinical Portfolio Management to review business requests, and evaluate or develop early plans and concepts for optimal study execution.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and/or reviews study-related or essential study start-up documents as they relate to the assigned clinical trials (e.g., Clinical Protocols, Informed Consent forms, Investigator Brochures, Monitoring Plan, Laboratory Manual, Patient Diary, Clinical Site Procedures Manual, Case Report Form (CRFs), CRF Completion Guidelines and other relevant study plans and charters).
  • Serves as a Clinical Project Manager ensuring that the Study Management team meets or exceeds the timelines and deliverables assigned to the study team
  • Oversees/leads study-specific study management resources
  • Develops and manages group of studies for an entire business unit or large development program
  • Provides critical thinking and leadership when issues arise during execution of clinical studies.
  • Leads or contributes to continuous improvement activities/initiatives.
  • Manages relationships with sites/PIs. other study related vendors, including CRO’s.
  • Intermediate knowledge, of established project management standards used to develop and maintain integrated project plans (scope/work packages, time/schedule, cost/material and human resource, quality, communication/escalation, risk, value) and organizes/facilitates meetings and discussions as needed.
  • Defines, tracks and reports schedule attributes such as durations, interdependencies, milestones, critical path and other key deliverables including efficiency and effectiveness of plans and staff.
  • Adapts work package deliverables based on study scale and complexity.
  • Creates aggressive but achievable resource and budget forecasts and timelines.
  • Interacts with both Internal and External contacts, providing direction to the GCD cross functional team members and vendors (if applicable) regarding the technical, protocol-specific and operational aspects of assigned studies.
  • Proactively identifies and manages risks and issues (including a log, mitigations, and contingencies) to ensure cost effective timely delivery of the project including escalation if needed
  • Plans and maintains high quality standards in order to meet compliance requirements.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, US and Internationally.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Medical Technology or regional equivalent, or in the Life or Medical Sciences such as: Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or Clinical Microbiology research experience.
  • A minimum of 3- 5 years in human clinical research.
  • Experience/Knowledge in IVD products, and Clinical Laboratory processes
  • Clinical laboratory or clinical research experience, experience in a medical device/lVD company a plus
  • Familiarity with CLSI guidelines and other standards
  • Background in Infectious Diseases and/or Cancer
  • Demonstrated experience in: Microbiology, Virology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Hematology, Chemistry or any other aspect of clinical laboratory medicine, In Vitro Diagnostics, Specimen collection and processing
  • Biospecimen acquisition and prospective sample collection protocols
  • Project management experience desirable using MS Project and/or recent proven success within a BD product development core/extended team.
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Knowledge of clinical trial concepts and practices, including international clinical research guidelines.
  • Strong client and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively, independently with multi-level teams, manage multiple projects and work in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated and effective interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

  • Creates, maintains, and owns project schedules, risks, dependencies, and actions associated with specified projects. Drives issues to resolution and escalates unresolved issues to the HR leadership team in a timely manner. Develops options and recommendations to drive critical decisions.
  • Performs project reporting including regular stakeholder status reports, overall performance of the project, and completion documentation. Measures and monitors progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Develops and recommends budgeting, cost controls, planning, scheduling, and procedural changes.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required.

Experience:

Seven (7) years of experience managing increasingly complex projects is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage enterprise Microsoft implementation projects consisting of 15+ members and project budgets from $2M to $6M+
  • Whiteboard and discuss the PMO Implementation Methodology at a high level, diligently follow the process when performing project management tasks, and provide clear and constructive feedback for continuous improvement in the Implementation Methodology to the PMO
  • Work closely with the Microsoft "fast track" team on strategy and collaboration items
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with customers and deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client for all project-related activities
  • Create and manage a formal project plan, including SOW, timeline, risk management, communication plan, change management, training plan and resource plan
  • Manage the execution of all components of approved project plan, including risk assessments, project deliverables and timeline, vendor coordination, test plans, budget control and project cost, progress on scope, documentation, etc.
  • When appropriate, collaborate with clients to develop design specifications, business needs, and other factors that impact operational requirements and the end customer experience
  • Maintain internal system updates, including project status, SharePoint documentation, resource plans, financial updates for billing, time submittals, and expense reports
  • Active participation in bi-monthly PMO team meetings and solution specific review sessions
  • Maintain a target employee utilization goal

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience deploying enterprise IT projects in a customer facing environment
  • Prior experience managing project deployments of Microsoft solutions required
  • PMP (or active plan to achieve PMP certification) preferred
  • Experience in healthcare vertical (payer or provider environments) preferred
  • SCRUM Master certification preferred
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology
  • Self-directed, consistent and reliable with effective time management skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, written & verbal communication skills
