Requirements

  • Expert level of experience in Principles of Project/Program or Portfolio Management
  • Great communication and great listening skills

  • Applies broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning.
  • Applies knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget/finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, in the planning, programming, budgeting, and executing (PPBE) process.
  • Reviews initial and revised acquisition documents and provides the enterprise-level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Provides comments on acquisition documentation that add value from an enterprise perspective and facilitates an integrated, system-of-systems approach across the division.

The day to day.

  • Provide advice and support to EEBPs, Talent Acquisition, Business Leaders and frontline managers on salary structures, policy interpretations, job evaluations, job leveling, career ladder design, offer analysis, etc.
  • Ensure compensation programs are in compliance with internal guidelines, local and country regulatory requirements.

Compensation

USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $88,200 - $158,900*( this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.

  • Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.

Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.

Experience with contract documentation, the MIPR process, SLAs, and MOAs. Must have experience with Agile acquisition and development. Experience with cyber security and cloud solutions. Must be able to communicate with segment leaders and project stakeholders to align with project scope, requirements, and objectives. Able to work with a multi-disciplinary and geographically separated team. Able to identify and research new tools/technologies and assess how they may fit with the existing systems. Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and the pursuit of alternative courses of action. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
