 Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Facilitates scrum foundation, values and principles within the team. Executes the backlog as requested by product manager.
  • Plans, facilitates and monitors the scrum processes such as daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, working agreements, charters, team routines,etc.
  • Collaborates with end users to understand business needs and helps the team to meet the established objectives.
  • Responsible for products/assignments of moderate complexity and/or scope. Performs under broad guidance and supervision.
  • Typically receives minimal instructions on routine work.
  • May provide guidance to other team members and may occasionally lead a team.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of professional concepts and established technologies.
  • Part of an Agile team to deliver high value software solutions that contribute to the success of Client technology initiatives.
  • The individual will facilitate and coordinate all of the agile ceremonies and oversee the building of the Agile team’s backlog.

Day to Day

  • Manage day-to-day project tasks for implementing SPS Commerce Products and Services from close of sale through handoff to customer support
  • Create and maintain project work schedules, track customer requirements and translate customer requests into project deliverables
  • Demonstrate proficiency in service delivery while managing multiple projects
  • Monitor work-flow requirements to meet timelines and quality expectations
  • Act as information broker by directing communication to/from team and customers
  • Proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources
  • Advocate for positive change and improvement within the organization by identifying and communicating the compelling needs for change/improvement

Required Experience/ Skills

  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Strong problem solving & analytic ability
  • Quality-focused; detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and written/oral communication skills

What is the day-to-day like?

You will own a portfolio of projects, driving them from contract signature to project closure. You will work with and influence upstream/downstream partners (within and outside Implementations) to ensure successful broader service delivery. You'll provide leadership to the project team and for the efficiency and effectiveness of projects for a given service delivery area. The day-to-day will include regular collaboration with multiple teams across SPS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, management, business or a related field

  • 2-4 years of Infrastructure related Project experience
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, (Azure DevOps experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management
  • Technically competent to deliver and drive technology infrastructure programs
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
