Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Project Manager/ Data Solutions Architect. This role is will work 100% remote for now and a mix of mainly remote with some office/local client site (as needed) post COVID.

The Senior Project Manager/ Data Solutions Architect will have complete responsibility for the day-to-day management of the engagement, including all aspects related to managing our consulting team and structuring the architecture for Data projects resulting in a successful delivery and a satisfied, reference-able client.

Job Overview

A Senior Project Manager/Solutions Architect is expected to be knowledgeable in two or more technologies within Data Solutions. The Solutions Architect may or may not have a programming background, but will have expert infrastructure architecture, client presales / presentation, team management and thought leadership skills.

You will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.

You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains. This role is considered part of the Business Unit Senior Leadership team and may mentor junior architects and other delivery team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large data platform implementations including multi-shore and multi-capability.
  • Define program operating model for a large, multi-shore, multiple business unit level program with complex eco-system of client personas, vendor personas, and Perficient teams
  • Define and have a clear, high level understanding of the project/program goals and the status towards them, to be able to articulate progress, milestones achieved, risks and issues to any internal or external stakeholder, even if possible, help the team anticipate and prevent issues with adequate risk management and laser focus on goal-orientation
  • See the whole picture (the forest, not the tree) of the business, it's drivers, actors involved and processes, that will allow him to help the team that is more on the day to day on not losing sight of that big picture and the north they are following
  • Define the goals of the program and key KPI's/OKR's to measure and monitor them
  • Proactively develop strong relationships with Business and IT leaders from the C-suite level to front line delivery consultant
  • Build trust with clients, stakeholders and team members alike, with empathy, great communication and negotiation skills
  • Create evaluation frameworks and facilitate project prioritization discussions and decisions.
  • Drive guidance and leadership around resource planning against the prioritized portfolio of projects
  • Provide leadership expertise on Agile product delivery working very closely with Agile coach and Scrum masters
  • Engage with the project teams and the business to understand project and resource needs
  • Provide comprehensive visibility into project status even for those projects not directly involved.
  • Define and implement necessary processes and tools to support adoption of PMO administration across the enterprise including the creation of templates and training materials
  • Ensure monitoring of progress against all projects is timely and accurate and enables Sponsors and stakeholders to have visibility and sufficient information to make required decisions
  • Cultivate highly functioning teams comprised of Perficient and client resources; the ability to effectively manage the engagement while recognizing and leveraging the expertise of the different resources and the importance of their contributions is critical.
  • Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfaction.
  • Produce key project management deliverables such as project charters, project plans, resource plans, risk mitigation plans, change management plans, etc.
  • Mentor and provide solutions delivery expertise to less experienced team members.
  • Monitor engagement team performance and provide feedback.
  • Team with the business developer to drive ongoing client development activities.
  • Participate on client engagement steering committees as necessary to set client expectations and issue and resolution management.
  • Lead the business development efforts from a delivery perspective.
  • Develop overall estimates of the effort / resource requirements / sche dule.

Qualifications

    • 12 + years of experience
    • Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture
    • Strong client management and executive level communication skills
    • Proven ability to manage data projects leveraging agile methodologies. Able to translate strategic roadmaps into an actionable program plan.
    • 3+ years of Informatica experience is a must.
    • Solid technical understanding of data governance, data quality, and capability management
    • Experience managing large data platform implementations including multi-shore and multi-capability. Technology experience should include Data, Business Intelligence, ETL Platforms, Master Data Management, and Platforms
    • Experience leading and delivering complex enterprise solutions and teams.
    • Serving as the senior delivery resource for consulting engagements; cultivating highly functioning teams comprised of Perficient and client resources.
    • Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.
    • Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
    • Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
    • Future technology leaders- dynamic individuals energized by fast paced personal and professional growth.
    • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
    • Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
    • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
    • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
    • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
    • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
    • Proven track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes
    • Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs and procurement deadlines.
    • Proven track record working with and selling to the stakeholders, executives, and decision makers of Fortune 1000 companies.
    • Proven domain expertise with experience building business cases and communicating client-specific value proposition and establishing yourself as a trusted adviser.
    • Leading technical discussions with business and technical decision makers, including detailing technical specifications, product roadmaps, deployment, and third-party integrations
    • Demonstrated capability to handle Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations.
    • Experience coordinating Sales team members to develop sales scripts, discovery process, best practices, sharing expertise/training and guiding solution development.
    • Experience with recruiting, personnel management, and performance reviews.
    • Experience in sales support role, particularly discovery meetings, demos, roadmaps, and engagement assessment.
    • Must be open to travel post COVID

Partner Asset & Licensing Program Manager

This Partner Asset & Licensing Program Manager is responsible for the implementation and success of complex partner licensing programs that require substantial post-licensing logistics and compliance components. By remaining embedded in business, financial, and legal processes, the role serves as an internal expert and driver for the change management necessary for internal and external program alignment and to adapt to risk and opportunity.

This Program Manager will also work to implement internal infrastructure to ensure post-licensing success by supervising the end-to-end business processes required to deliver against company goals. The role is expected to maintain expertise in identified contracts, third-party partner & licensing programs, and related company business processes to update and advise all business units.

About The Role

The Partner Asset & Licensing Program Manager will:

  • Develop and implement Microsoft business and cloud readiness processes and tasks ensuring Elite’s ongoing organizational readiness and contract compliance for new and ongoing cloud and ISV initiatives.
  • Review complex program and product documentation to create reports, outlines, and actionable tasks that are required for the ongoing delivery of cloud and licensing solutions. Ensure business implementation of new and revised processes as needed.
  • Work with Legal as a bridge between business needs and legal requirements/analysis.
  • Maintain regular and appropriate communication with leadership to secure approval of proposed compliance frameworks.
  • Stays current on Microsoft and other strategic licensing programs, initiatives, and licensing programs for software asset management needs.
  • Serves as a business development manager by presenting opportunities and managing go-to-market and development funding as well as maximizing discounting and new business opportunities.
  • Point of contact for business requests that must be escalated to the strategic partners.
  • Implement governance, risk, and compliance structures for Microsoft, SAP, and OpenText
  • Administrator of cloud portals to meet high security and compliance standards.

About You

  • Knowledge and experience in best practices for managing cloud readiness/solutions, licensing, and collaborating with Microsoft.
  • Ability to self-start and self-educate to stay up-to-date on licensing programs.
  • Ability to navigate internal restrictions and the requirements placed upon teams by vendors.
  • Experience with reading financial reports, such as invoice and royalty documents, CRM, contracts, and other programs and documents related to the management of licensing programs.
  • Highly experienced in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly skilled presenter able to break down complex information for diverse audiences.
  • 5+ years managing cloud initiatives or highly complex projects.
  • 5+ years in digital strategy, cloud solutions, contract compliance, or related field.
  • Experience transitioning products from on-premises to the cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a highly matrixed organization to identify process improvements and proactively spot issues across all business units.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Experience with managing initiatives to enable products in the cloud
  • Experience developing business cases
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related or field.
  • MBA or JD preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive account management and effective project delivery.
  • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunities.

  • Helps deliver presentations to clients and management teams.
  • Contributes to project discoveries, kickoff, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standards.
  • Translate client’s business needs into detailed business requirements documents, use cases and systems interaction diagrams.
  • Works with customers to establish approved wireframes and mock-ups for solutions.
  • Assists project team to establish high, mid, and micro level plans for project team.
  • Helps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria.
  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Helps establish project test strategy, methodologies, test plans as well as assist with test execution.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of consulting industry experience, with strong relationship management, account management, and sales support experience.
  • Experience in Product Ownership or Product Management.
  • Experience serving as Scrum Master leading scrum teams.
  • Must have had Program Management experience in setting up and running a PMO and should be able to manage multiple projects on different tracks.
  • Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects.
  • Hands on with project documentation. Well-versed in industry best-practices and current technologies.
  • Must have prior background in managing large, multi-team engagements.
  • Experience with Global Delivery Model is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
