The Enterprise Brand team is responsible for positioning and differentiating the Capital One brand and empowering teams across the enterprise to deliver a cohesive and powerful brand experience – to our associates, customers, prospects and the community at large. The project manager position will manage the development process of campaigns, activations, and additional projects throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative projects through intake and delivery, including resource assignment, project planning, developing schedules and task management using WorkFront.
  • Develop and execute project plans and manage executive of work to be delivered on time
  • Conduct and lead project meetings with creative teams, responsible for project documentation and tracking.
  • Proactively identify potential risks, plan contingencies, facilitate scope changes, build solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Identify and provide solutions to gaps as needed for project success.
  • Act as a liaison between Creative team and Marketing business partners, strategy leads, and stakeholders alike.
  • Adhere to department/audit policies, procedures, and expectations while managing scope, schedule, resources, and budget to deliver high quality results.
  • Work on small, medium, and large scale creative projects that have a direct impact on the company.
  • Work with lead Project Manager to identify and solve opportunities to improve and streamline process and project management practices.
  • Communicate effectively with associates of all levels and build relationships that will allow for collaboration and open dialogue through difficult conversations.

  • Experience using WorkFront
  • Ability to self-manage and escalate potential roadblocks with confidence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in resource and task management with the ability to explore solution-oriented approaches based on project-specific needs

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 2 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Google Suite and preferably Workfront
  • At least 3 years of experience managing in-house creative teams, marketing, or agency experience

We are seeking a Project Management professional who excels in a team environment. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and can adapt to change quickly. As a Project Manager on the Spring team, you will help drive continuous process improvements, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance to requirements and standards. You will monitor and maintain processes to ensure they are followed correctly and help to resolve issues or escalate when necessary. This includes updating process documents, collecting and analyzing data and measuring effectiveness of existing business processes. You will provide solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity including managing special projects.

Activities may include, but not limited to project planning, design, and implementation of solutions that meet the project requirements. May also include developing and maintaining a project schedule, tasks, resources, dependencies, and coordinates the completion of key tasks associated with the management of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong internal and external relationships, understand and navigate the procurement process and explore new opportunities
  • Gather and integrate feedback, influence stakeholders and drive results for ideas or initiatives
  • Collaborate as member of the PMO working with cross functional teams to assess, communicate, and implement improvements
  • Facilitate discussion to drive cross-program and departmental planning, collaboration, and coordinatior
  • Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams
  • Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions
  • Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals with a bias for action. Ability to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
  • Ability to learn about and understand technology and business problems, and experience recommending solutions (software and/or methodologies)
  • Able to quickly understand business needs and translate these needs into solutions
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment
  • Ability to challenge the status quo to redefine best practices, discovering new approaches to help reduce friction and drive results across the team
  • Tools used include Google suite, Jira, Confluence, and Mural to manage the schedule, scope, risks and issues tracking and reporting for the project. For process management we utilize Visio, Google suite, Confluence, and other Capital One systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • At least 3 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Process Management or Project Management
  • At least 3 year of Risk Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 years experience in Process Management
  • At least 4 years experience in Project Delivery
  • BPM Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • PMP certification or Certified Scrum Master certification
