The Project Manager is a full-time position responsible for providing overall project accountability and management to all phases of Commercial and designBUILD projects of Morton Buildings, Inc., including initial qualification, budgeting, design development, scope definition, and construction. The Project Manager guides the project team thru the designBUILD Project Delivery System process with the goal of completing projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Essential Functions

  • Manages the designBUILD project delivery process from concept to completion for Commercial and designBUILD projects; serving as the subject matter expert for project teams consisting of Sales Consultants, Architects, Engineers, Superintendents, and construction personnel; leading and guiding project teams through the project lifecycle.
  • Gathers project requirements and engages with Architects, Engineers, outside consultants, and other appropriate personnel to create and develop project concepts, drawings, scopes, and budgeting to generate proposals that meets client expectations.
  • Maintains project construction documentation such as schedule of values and owner contracts; overseeing submittal approvals, change orders and other necessary project records; communicating project changes and progress when needed.
  • Monitors project progress, ensuring project stays on schedule, within budget, and work meets quality standards; managing project risks through engagement of appropriate personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise.
  • Manages subcontractor and vendor procurements for projects; soliciting subcontractors, awarding contracts, and coordinating payments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a 4-year degree in construction related field (Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management ) and 5+ years of diverse experience within the building-construction industry
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent follow through
  • Promotes teamwork and demonstrates leadership skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of project planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project) and ability to develop coherent plans
  • Familiarity with construction and project management systems ( e.g. Procore )
  • Ability to establish workplace environments that are safe, organized, productive, and profitable
  • Self-starter with a positive, willing to learn attitude
  • Willingness and ability to travel

About The Role

As Higround's Creative Projects Manager you will be working closely with the Creative Director and Director of Product Development to create beautiful gaming hardware products, apparel, and creative projects. You will assist in managing creative projects across products, social, and collaborations. Previous experience with team and project leadership within a rapid production environment will be a critical skill.

Requirements

  • BFA in Design, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in design at a creative agency or inhouse brand
  • Minimum of 1 year managing a team of graphic designers required
  • Mastery in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Blender required
  • Experience as a Creative Lead for direct to consumer catalogs and knowledge of print production is a plus

  • Fundamental understanding of design and branding practices to ensure brand is unified across mediums
  • Strong understanding of gaming, fashion, pop culture and lifestyle

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Creative Director to ensure creative alignment across all platforms (product, online, social media, customer communications, catalog, in-store, packaging)
  • Act as a creative project lead along journey from concept to campaign to execution that are consistent with the Higround look and feel
  • Source and manage an evolving team of designers including setting clear roles and responsibilities and expectations of all projects to be sure the output is brand appropriate, and completed on time with the highest standard possible
  • Manage creative projects such as:
    • Artists for product designs
    • Video Producers/Editors for social content
    • Product photoshoots
  • Brainstorm creative product campaign concepts while maintaining project momentum with excellent attention to detail
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and emotionally engaging
  • Present work to business partners and senior management; adjust and shape design decisions based on feedback
  • Research creative trends in competitive markets and apply the knowledge and learning to marketing projects

Job Description

We are looking for a client-facing Senior Project Manager, experienced at managing and delivering marketing projects from launch to completion. Supporting our leading clients, you will become a part of a cross functional consulting & execution team that completes projects on time and exceeds our clients' expectations. You will manage multiple concurrent projects and diverse teams to meet our clients' strategic media network goals. Working with client services and cross functional team members, you will meticulously organize and keep your projects moving forward from the front lines, updating key partners about progress and overcoming all the inevitable hurdles along the way. You will work closely with a Retail Media Network client as part of our New Stream Media capability.

You Will

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across internal and client teams
  • Provide programmatic support to team leads, ensuring that strategic goals are met
  • Create project plans and revise to meet changing requirements and deadlines
  • Oversee project detail as well as provide high level, programmatic oversight
  • Lead status meetings: capture & distribute meeting notes and keep meetings focused an on-topic
  • Evaluate new work requests, identify resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, and schedule action items
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to key team members
  • Be a point of escalation for all issues and changes to existing plans
  • Coordinate internal reviews and quality assurance. Keep track of lessons learned and share with all team members
  • Participate in brainstorming strategy sessions to develop processes and workflows to align with client goals
  • Contribute to the evolution of the project management discipline; defining, documenting, and implementing processes and iterating as needed

Job description

· Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines.

· Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle.

· Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, and assure project success.

· Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines.

· Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion.

· Provide tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users.

Requirements

· 1-6 years experience
