Who You Are

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Project Manager for Order Now who will be responsible for managing key cross-functional projects and initiatives that vary in scope and complexity with impact on several business areas across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring projects produce the required deliverables of quality, within specified time constraints and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. The Project Manager also contributes to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

What You’ll Do

A critical part of this position is to bring on existing Marketplace Partners into the Order Now program, allowing customers and resellers to easily order products from our shopping channels. As a suitable candidate, you will have to understand the software, hardware and other concepts associated with the vendor’s product and how it will integrate into various work streams within Geotab. The key is to have a seamless customer and reseller experience, and provide a high quality product.

The Project Manager for Order Now will actively work with all internal and external workstream leaders to implement and maintain the new Order Now partners selected. This position will oversee and support the day-to-day activities of the Order Now partners assigned, including overseeing other teams related to billing, shipping and support issues with our Order Now Partners.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Onboard existing Marketplace Partner(s) into the Order Now Marketplace Program.
  • Work with all internal and external workstream leaders to successfully implement a Marketplace Partner into all areas of the business - this includes Operations, Fulfillment, Support, Marketing, Solution Engineering and Development, Billing and Finance, Product Training and Sales.
  • Meet with Marketplace Partner and identify scope of work and level of effort to successfully integrate them into the Marketplace Program, while working back with internal workstream leaders to get sign off on scope of work.
  • Build out a project plan to execute tasks from all workstreams, identify any outlying issues and escalate immediately.
  • Meet weekly with internal and external stakeholders to track performance of all related workstream tasks to track progress, solve issues.
  • Build out weekly status reports and send them to key stakeholders, communicating necessary changes or improvements made to scope of work.
  • Be the main point of contact for product escalations, or escalations regarding that specific vendor in the Order Now Program.
  • Work back with the Operations Manager and Operations Team to continue to build out and improve processes and documentation.
  • Become an expert in Geotab operations; including inventory management, fulfillment, RMA processing and third party billing.

What You’ll Bring To This Role

  • 3-5 years experience in project management. PMP required.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Diploma/Degree specialization in Business or a related field highly valued.
  • Strong experience establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships.

  • Provide guidance on the development and delivery of operational procedures for radiologists, technologists, referring physicians, technology administrators, and a client’s Information Technology Department.
  • Coordinate and ensure proper training of client resources. 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as Project Manager, preferably in PACS implementations. PMP certification a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with PACS and/or Radiology applications
  • BS degree preferred.
  • Radiologist Technologist certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%. 
  • Deep and extensive knowledge and experience using project management tools, imaging workflow, and other healthcare IT-related tools, as well as enterprise software implementations.
  • Well developed time and priority management skills, as well as problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.

Job Duties

The Digital Project Manager is accountable for ensuring successful completion of projects, on-time, within budget, and error-free. The principal responsibility of the Digital Project Manager is to manage the planning and execution of the IT Project team comprising of cross-team members (Business analysts, Application Development, Testing, Infrastructure, and business resources),. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the project charter, communications, metrics, reporting, and the overall project plan (highlighting dependencies between various projects under the same program) and budget.

The Digital Project Manager Will

Use knowledge of digital processes and business acumen to guide cross-functional teams in the execution of projects.

Serve as the principal communicator with clients and internal stakeholders regarding project status.

Use Agile program management methodology as relevant to the project/program execution. Follow latest industry execution practices and processes (e.g, DevOps, Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery) for the highest velocity and innovation.

Prioritize project/program requirements by working with the Product Owner or other stakeholders.

Write a communication plan and stakeholder management plan for the project/program. Develop stakeholder register, analyze positive and negative stakeholders, and manage the expectation of stakeholders across the project/program.

Provide regular updates to Business stakeholders and consumers of project/program deliverables.

Create and manage dependencies across all active projects. Collaborate across the project/program to leverage diverse thoughts and ideas.

Log and review project/program risks with stakeholders and take timely action to mitigate or eliminate risks.

Evaluate team members of the project/program organization and look to add required resources or train resources to improve IT skills for the benefit of the digital project/program.

Mentor project team members for the successful delivery of the project/program.

Create rough order of magnitude of the program budget, track actuals, and do a quarterly forecast of spend throughout the life of the project/program.

Report project/program status using a visual tool. Document all project / program-related artifacts including lessons learned, in an easily accessible and shared environment.

Be an advocate of the digital project/program and market it for successful adoption. Significant challenges of this position are working with people, enhancing the team's creativity, facilitating the team's cooperation, clearly communicating the requirements and tasks while gaining input from the team on the refinement of same, translating both verbal and non-verbal information from the customer to management and team members.

Basic Qualifications

Position requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university

10 plus years of job-related experience in IT Applications ( Business Requirement Definition, implementation, Deployment, Application Maintenance, Testing )across any business function in a large Manufacturing Industry.Working experience of managing projects with multiple system integrators for Application development, Testing, Infrastructure, and also with client business resources
