Description du poste

The Vendor Management Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities across Vendor Management and Sourcing to track results and report status to applicable stakeholders. The Project Manager will produce weekly consolidated status across multiple key initiatives within the Vendor Management work stream. This will also include managing issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.

The Project Manager will work in coordination with the team leads and team members to successfully manage and complete project deliverable. The Project Manager will support the team leads in driving the project on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Steering Committee.

  • Liaise with Steering committees, VPs, Directors, project sponsors and strategic partners
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of our client’s
  • strategic objectives
  • Consolidate data across key metrics to report validated savings against forecasted savings.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Establish frameworks and structure when needed.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expend and mature these capabilities for the organization
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources, and chair team meetings.
  • Act as an advocate for Tech Transformation in applying methodology, processes and tools for adopting best practices for Project delivery
  • Adapt to procurement policies and procedures established by the client’s procurement authority.
  • Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration, or litigation, as needed.
  • Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract.
  • Monitor the progress of the RFP, RFQ, IFB, or RFI, as needed.


Skills/Experience Required:

  • At least 4 years of demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that spans multiple lines of business.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports business & IT strategic objectives.
  • 3+ years of strong Project Delivery experience
  • 5+ strong Excel skills (analytics, pivot tables, formulas, etc)
  • 3+ years of experience in a Major Consulting firm is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with Vendor Management or Sourcing is a plus.
  • Proven success in supporting on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Established practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Possess strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
