Job Title:

Senior Project Manager – Healthcare IT

Salary Range: 

$80K to $110K + Benefits

Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, intelligent, and driven consultant to join our professional services firm. We have an immediate opportunity to provide project management oversight to several of our clients that deliver services in healthcare IT.

You would be a good fit if you have the following values, skills, and experience:

  • You hold industry credentials (e.g., PMP, CSM, PSM I/II).

What to Expect in the First 30 Days:

  • You will learn about all of our client engagements and internal processes.
  • You will typically be placed on 2-3 client engagements in the first month, but in some cases, you may be placed full-time on a client engagement right away.
  • You will attend internal team meetings geared towards operational alignment, sales, marketing, and recruitment.
  • You will develop OKRs by the end of the 30 days that will drive your quarterly activities.
  • You will have weekly one-on-ones with the Managing Principal of TCG.

What to Expect in the First 90 Days:

  • You will begin to lead internal initiatives, such as technology selection, process improvements, etc.
  • You will attend and contribute to internal team meetings.
  • You may assist in coaching more junior team members or onboarding new hires.
  • You will lead some client engagements.

What to Expect by the End of the First Year:

  • You will begin to identify which practice you will focus on and/or define a new one for TCG.
  • You may manage or mentor junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5-7 years of healthcare, IT, and/or project/program management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, IT, or healthcare
  • Ability to negotiate and influence
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Strong leadership skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Management consulting experience
  • Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PSM I/II)
  • Experience leading projects in health information exchange, health insurance exchange, health IT, and/or pharmaceutical
