Rogers is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to manage the strategy, planning and implementation of a high profile initiative for the company, Retail Transformation. You will play a key role in managing the project and its various workstreams. You will be accountable for driving the transformation forward within scope, on schedule, while impacting key performance indicators for the business. You will have direct exposure to the Chief Retail Officer and other executive stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the development of the strategy and plans associated with retail transformation
  • Help develop roadmaps and KPIs for workstreams and coordinate cross-team activities
  • Ensure programs are executed on time and within scope
  • Use critical thinking skills to anticipate and manage potential risks and dependencies across workstreams and programs
  • Proactively communicate workstream status to executive level stakeholders on a regular basis and ensure decisions are made quickly and effectively
  • Monitor key performance indicator to assess program effectiveness
  • Support executive level meetings to ensure that meaningful discussions occur at the right time and place

What You Will Bring…

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy and project management, preferably in projects associated in the telecom industry and/or retail
  • Experience in managing a group of simultaneous initiatives
  • Fluent in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and other MS Office tools
  • Analytical mindset and comfort with interpreting numbers
  • Comfort presenting to and communicating with executive level audiences
  • Strong sense of initiative and a self-starter who can work equally well in groups or on their own
  • Comfort with ambiguity
