The Sr US Field Strategy Program Manager will be responsible for leading projects in diverse areas of the business with rigorous, fact-based strategic decisions within the Cardiac Rhythm Business (CRM) which is part of Medtronic's Cardiovascular Portfolio. This role reports to the US CRM Sales Vice President.

Success in the role will rely heavily on the ability to manage cross-functional teams and prioritize projects, synthesize complex data and information into succinct findings, derive strategic insights, and communicate findings and perspectives to all levels of the organization, including senior and executive management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and self-motivated, with excellent analytic, facilitation, and communication skills (both oral and written). You will work collaboratively with team members across Medtronic, with emphasis on coordination of operating unit and regional activities, to manage the development of processes, tools and outputs that support strategic decision making and execution. You will also act as an independent voice to the US Sales VP and assist in facilitating effective decision making and coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives and be responsible for supporting presentations to the employee base and other internal and external partners as needed.

A Day in the Life:

  • Coordinate CRM therapy marketing initiatives into a unified US strategy
  • Develop and execute US specific marketing and sales initiatives
  • Maintain relationships with select US KOLs to understand customer needs
  • Support US field leaders on the execution of US sales/marketing strategies
  • Be an active member of US field leadership staff by actively contributing to QBRs, strategic planning and projects, and providing weekly updates.
  • Responsible for planning, initiating, monitoring, tracking and/or prioritizing sales and marketing support projects and process improvement initiatives and facilitate successful, on-time and within budget execution
  • Sets clear direction and management that aligns with defined practices and policies and enhances the organization's support function necessary to meet established sales or market share targets
  • Plans and coordinates business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures, and financial analysis
  • Independently develop and share insights to help position the business for success
  • Interacts and works closely with other departments, such as (but not limited to) Sales, Marketing, Global Comms & Corporate Marketing to ensure adequate support to the sales and marketing functions
  • Coordinate and lead strategic initiatives among cross-functional groups/ businesses and regional partners through strategic thought and active participation in decision analysis using internal and external data, problem formulation, meeting facilitation, data collection, and communications to senior management
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience leading and managing the execution of programs and processes in a marketing, sales or technical role

Nice to Have:

  • MBA or Master's Degree
  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, management consulting and/or investment banking desirable
  • Experience in a Business Development and/or Strategy function
  • Demonstrated success in people or program management
  • Experience generating creative new business ideas and strategies
  • Experience leading or managing teams and change initiatives
  • Experience in financial modeling including the ability to perform sensitivity analyses and critically interpret the results
  • Experience with developing strategic business plans
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques and ability to draw conclusions from the data
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
