Job Description And Duties

The Employment Program Manager I (EPM I) will be responsible for monitoring, overseeing, planning and influencing a positive working environment in the Los Angeles/Coastal Workforce Services Division Office. The incumbent will supervise staff who provide programmatic support to twenty-three America's Job Center of California sites throughout LA and the Central Coast. As a member of the Division management team, you will participate in developing and implementing goals, objectives, polices, and standards applicable in the support of the mandated programs administered throughout the Division.

Overnight travel may be required.

Per the Governor's Office of California, the Employment Development Department is considered an essential department. This position requires local in-person workload, though some telework may be available. This position's office follows the recommended safety guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Center of Disease Control (CDC).

Position exists in Pasadena.
