CTG is in the search for a Project Manager for a 3 Month Contract to hire opportunity in Richmond, VA. The Project Management will be responsible for supporting all the functions for the Project Management Office; including project management processes, reporting, IT fiscal management, and for the success of projects measured in terms of attaining objectives for project scope, schedule, cost, and quality. This person will oversee the work of a small project, project team or contributes as a team member providing assistance or support to and under the guidance of a more senior Project Manager overseeing a portion of a larger project for any one or combination of project phases including project initiation through completion. Given the scope of a small to moderately complex project or sub-project; the Associate Project Manager, manages the completion of the required activities and documentation for: Integration management, Scope management, Schedule management, Cost management, Quality management, Human resources management, Communication & stakeholder management, Risk management, Change management. Applies knowledge regarding system scope, requirements and project objectives. Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Sets performance objectives for completion of project phases. Identifies required resources and develops and monitors schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Full use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Position typically requires a Bachelor's degree and up to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of related education and experience. With minimal direction and coaching from more senior Project Managers, determines and develops approaches to solutions with work completed with accuracy and sound judgment ensuring objectives are met.
