SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – FINANCIAL CLIENT

Overview

We are seeking an energetic self-motivated Project Manager to join a progressive Financial Services Account to manage retail projects throughout the US. This is a remote position and not location dependent.

The selected candidate will be expected to lead a cross function team of design professionals, general contractors, and specialty contractors across a large geographic area, managing multiple projects at one time in various phases of development to meet or exceed established goals including speed to market, project and data quality & budget. The candidate’s primary focus will be on the specific needs of the project, client, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders but will also be required to support client initiatives and team objectives to ensure continuous process improvement and personal career development.

The selected candidate will be required to track and report project financials, milestone schedule, status updates, and other regular reporting required by the client. Project Management experience in financial services/retail banking industry is preferred.

Travel up to 50% may be required depending on project location, client interaction and team coordination.

Essential Functions

  • Hands on management and oversight of multiple Projects including, but not limited to- major renovations, minor modifications, consolidations, decommissions, closures, reconfigurations, security, signage, furniture and other required programs.
  • Concurrently manage various phases of a project(s) in various locations, from project initiation through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction and financial closeout.
  • Demonstrate full accountability for end to end management of projects.
  • Lead entire project team consisting of architects, engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, real estate brokers, environmental consultants, client stakeholders, security, AV, IT and furniture vendors.
  • Provide weekly project activity updates to Team Lead and/or Project Mangement Lead regarding project schedule, potential risks, budget status and anticipated cash flow utilizing JLL technology.
  • Develop risk management plans and lead project teams through established work authorization processes to ensure no impacts or incidents within critical environments or equipment.
  • Participate and or lead client decision making by providing relevant data, formal recommendations and outlining associated risks for client review and approval.
  • Oversee and prepare accurate project documentation for all phases of construction including project charter, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, financial funding requests, status reports, punch lists, and special reports on-time and in accordance with pre-established formats to pass all project documentation reviews with client.
  • Manage vendors (e.g., GC, A&E, Security, signage) to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures, including the formal closeout of all projects in less than 90 days after project completion

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field is preferred.
  • Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in all aspects of design and construction.
  • Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management and contract negotiations is required
  • Experience with Financial Services is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web based applications
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings; furniture, fixtures, and equipment; design and space planning concepts; construction costs and schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

Certifications And Licenses, Not Required

  • LEED Certification is preferred.
  • PMP Certification is preferred

Position Goals- This P4 / Principal Consultant role will be responsible for assessing our corporate clients’ Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Business Intelligence and Analytics capabilities to turn information into value, identify risk and opportunities, and inform tactical and strategic decisions.

Plan, direct, and manage client engagements, deliver client value and grow advisory scope.

Advise clients on their agenda, roadmaps, and strategy for a successful BI improvement or implementation of BI capabilities.

Partner with internal and cross-functional teams to help our overall JLLT advisory practice development and client engagement.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conduct CRE BI and Analytics maturity assessments and identify pain points for capabilities, e.g. clarity of agenda and alignment with business objectives, roles and responsibilities, and data + technology readiness, .
  • Build future state CRE BI and Analytics strategy and roadmaps, and propose recommendations for business capabilities, organizational adjustments and technical components to support BI and Analytics.
  • Implement an enterprise-wide BI and Analytics framework, with a focus on improvement of standard measurement definitions and methods, performance analytics, and risk and opportunity identification.
  • Define and help our clients design roles, responsibilities and operating models required to operate and sustain the enterprise CRE BI and Analytics.
  • Assist clients with qualitative and quantitative analysis for building a strong business case for change.
  • Identify and recognize data standards, policies and controls necessary to sustain a BI solution.
  • Demonstrate a rigorous and analytical problem-solving approach, leading information gathering sessions and preparing and delivering client presentations and work products/prototypes.
  • Provide thought leadership, frameworks, and best practices required to deliver effective CRE BI and Analytics solutions to clients.
  • Identify the emerging needs for CRE BI and Analytics that arise from the operational goals and strategies, technology, current processes, and skill levels in the client’s environment.
  • Work with enterprise and solution architects to establish target BI and Analytics technology designs for clients.

Nos encontramos en búsqueda de un/a PROJECT MANAGER JR.

  • Zona: CABA y GBA, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  • Horario: lunes a viernes de 9:00 a 18:00 Hs.
  • Tipo de contrato: Tiempo indeterminado.

Objetivo Del Puesto

Desempeñar el rol de Gerente de Proyecto Jr. en proyectos corporativos de pequeña a mediana escala, emprendidos por la unidad de negocios de Servicios de Proyectos y Desarrollo (PDS), sea de manera independiente y como parte de un equipo. Deberá asistir a puntos de obras y oficinas centrales en CABA y GBA (Zona norte y Zona sur) y contar con disponibilidad para asistir al interior si fuese necesario.

Responsabilidades

  • Gestionar, coordinar y controlar todas las etapas del proyecto desde las etapas de inicio, planificación, diseño, adquisición, construcción, hasta su finalización y cierre del proyecto.
  • Trabajar con las limitaciones del proyecto y cumplir con todos los requisitos de tiempo, costo, calidad, salud y seguridad del proyecto.
  • Apoyar al equipo del proyecto
  • Comunicar los requisitos de necesidades y limitaciones del cliente.
  • Representar al cliente a lo largo de la duración del proyecto.
  • Administrar y coordinar el trabajo de todos los consultores y contratistas designados para el proyecto.
  • Administrar y establecer enlaces con el propietario del edificio.
  • Representar y promocionar a la empresa en todos los proyectos.
  • Contribuir y apoyar a los equipos de proyectos regionales cuando sea necesario.

Requisitos

  • Graduado/a de las carreras de Ingeniería mecánico, eléctrico, electrónico, industrial, civil o afines.
  • Experiencia previa de 1 a 2 años gestionan proyectos en la obra, tratando con proveedores y liderando todas sus etapas.
  • Experiencia previa en finanzas, incluyendo el control de presupuestos y de facturación.
  • Nivel de inglés intermedio para confeccionar reportes y participar en llamadas regionales.
  • Disponibilidad para atender emergencias 24/7.
  • Deberá asistir a puntos de obras y oficinas centrales en CABA y GBA (Zona norte y Zona sur) y contar con disponibilidad para asistir al interior si fuese necesario.
