Descripción del puesto

Tablet is all about discovering the world's most extraordinary hotels — places where you'll find a memorable experience, not just a room for the night. For 20+ years we’ve scoured the earth, evaluating hotels that meet our high standards across every price point, creating a hand-picked selection that’s proven and inspired. In fact, our painstaking curation led to Michelin making us the official hotel selection of their legendary MICHELIN Guide. The MICHELIN Guide had always been a benchmark in gastronomy. Now it’s setting the same standard for hotels.

Our mission is to open doors to places people will love that they might not have found on their own, extraordinary places that reflect the beauty and diversity of the world. Our team believes that travel brings people of all backgrounds together. Our hotels provide an unforgettable backdrop for that union.

Headquartered in New York City, we operate in eight languages, with thousands of incredible hotels located in over a hundred different countries. And if you really want to take it to the next level, our Tablet Plus Travel Club provides VIP upgrades and amenities at hundreds of our properties.

Technical Project Manager

Our product ecosystem now spans both the Tablet Hotels and Michelin Guide brands across web, iOS, and Android platforms. Projects have been met with new complexity and ambition as we balance building unique feature sets and maintain brand identities across multiple apps.

This is a brand new role that will work closely with the Chief Product Officer of the Michelin Experiences group (who’s also the cofounder of Tablet Hotels) and is tasked with supporting the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels product, design, and engineering teams in building the next generation of our Michelin Guide mobile apps.

As our Project Manager you’ll predict roadblocks, analyze dependencies, and propel projects forward. Unifying teams based in NYC and Paris requires cultivating confidence, iterating on process, building accountability, and ensuring a consistent and timely flow of information to all including product, design, and engineering leadership.

Our current goals revolve around improving predictability and product speed-to-market. The day-to-day of the role involves coordinating processes, monitoring tickets, and facilitating technical discussions, work sessions, and retrospectives. An understanding of our product components and technical knowledge (what an API is and how it works) will be essential in order to get ahead of conflicts, prioritize tickets, and influence accordingly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years technical project management experience
  • Strong technical acumen or an engineering background
  • Working knowledge of Scrum & Agile methodologies
  • Working product management knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
