What We Do

  • The Rockstar Analytics team provides insights and actionable results to a wide variety of stakeholders across the organization in support of their decision making.
  • We work together with a number of departments to design and implement data and pipelines.
  • We collaborate as a global team to develop cutting-edge data pipelines, data products, data models, reports, analyses and machine learning applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely within a team of data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, online service and game developers across multiple studios to deliver targeted analysis results.
  • Assist in defining deliverables and distribution of the team's cycles for sprints and longer-term roadmaps.
  • Help define and refine clear priorities, expectations and commitments and measurable progress points against those.
  • Consistently track and confirm that desired progress against milestone and sprint goals is being achieved.
  • Help streamline and adjust our project management processes to suit this team's specific workflow needs, while helping increase the reliability of meeting our goals.
  • Help navigate adjustments to existing schedules and commitments due to quick responses requests that need immediate attention.
  • Assist in chasing down and defining requirements for complex or lesser defined requests of the team.
  • Clearly communicate project highlights and overall status with both internal team and a wide array of audiences around the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical or project management related major.
  • 5+ years of direct experience defining and managing multi-team, multi-location projects related to analytics, software development or technical development and their deliverables with a proven track record of managing them successfully.
  • Experience managing a large volume of concurrent projects or project tasks.
  • Flexibility and initiative, together with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven ability to find and execute creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of agile project management techniques and best practices.
  • Able to generate, explain, and present detailed project metrics, schedules, milestone objectives, status reports, and other documentation clearly and accurately.
  • Proficiency in multiple software tools to manage projects and facilitate related communication, including and not limited to Excel, Bug Tracking Programs (i.e. TestTrack Pro, JIRA, Bugzilla), Word, MS Project, PPM system, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional, clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Passion for the video game industry.

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of direct experience successfully managing IT projects.
  • Understanding of traditional project management techniques; expertise in Agile methodology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business or other related major.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, payroll, and CRM systems. Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise level technology solutions including hosting, enterprise software solutions and hardware implementation projects.
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial data e.g. costs/ benefits analysis, ROI, capitalization rules, etc. as well as HR systems, processes, procedures and projects.

What You Will Be Doing

Overview

Job Description

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Energy Marshal - Electrical) to join the team.

This role will provide Project Management services as a client representative who oversees and assures General Contractors and supplemental vendor support comply with the overall Energy Isolation Program Management on the data center campus.

Essential

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager (Energy Marshal) is an assurance role that helps ensure the vendors’ and contractors’ Energy Isolation Program meets or exceeds any client safety policy requirements and is stood up by the Authorizing Energy Marshal.
  • Utilize SPS-101 Energy Isolation SPS and SPS-101 Energy Isolation Guidebook as the baseline and foundation of the Energy Isolation Program that is implemented throughout the campus and project.
  • Establishes and manages an Energy Isolation assurance process and works with site teams to close any gaps identified in assurance audits.
  • Participate in High Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings associated with Energy Isolation.
  • Ensures approval process for proposed Energy Isolation procedures is in place.
  • Work with the Authorizing Energy Marshal to establish an Energy Isolation Permit process.
  • Ensures SoWs, MOPs, and Scripts are reviewed, and all sources of energy are identified.
  • Helps determine if a group or individual LOTO will be required. Establishes with the Authorizing Energy Marshal a centralized LOTO with all site entities.
  • Ensures process is established that verifies qualifications, training, and PPE of personnel performing the work.
  • Delegates alternates that are qualified to assume role during multi-shift and peak energization time frames.
  • Liaising client operations where energy isolation activities may potentially impact operating datacenter core operations.
  • Acts in coordination with the Authorizing Energy Marshal as a subject matter expert in all Energy Isolation incident investigations in area of responsibility.
  • Serves as an independent authority for stopping all unsafe work practices regarding Energy Isolation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering is preferred
  • 10 years of experience within the areas of electrical and mechanical is required
  • Must have senior level experience in electrical systems installation, with an emphasis in team and project oversight
  • Must be able to follow and implement operating procedures
  • Must have experience with adhering to construction schedules, vendor interactions, and contract documentation
  • Experience with Data Center electrical and mechanical energy isolation
  • Experience in Data Center construction and commissioning standards and practices is required
  • Proven ability to interact with teams and implement improvements
  • Good ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers
  • Ability to audit site practices against written standards as part of assurance role
  • Strong ability to interpret line drawings and system redundancies to ensure design of LOTO systems is 100% effective and in compliance with client standards
  • Familiar with multiple sources of energy in datacenters, with emphasis placed on electrical
  • 70E NFPA certification
  • Understanding ASTM requirements
  • Ability to write MOPs for energy isolation
  • Experience in controlling and executing the MOPs

  • Demonstrate professionalism and leadership in representing Avtex.

Summary

Essential Responsibilities

Under general supervision of either a department manager or director of engineering/operations, oversees multiple projects as a project manager, discipline lead, and/or field construction coordinator for power plant projects developed to maintain or improve power plant safety, environmental quality, reliability, infrastructure modernization, and efficiency.   • Manges the planning, design and construction of multiple capital and/or O&M projects (e.g., modifications/additions to facilities and infrastructure) under supervision.

Responsibilities

This role will serve as part of the operations team helping to transition, modernize and sustain the Defense Health Agencys IT infrastructure to provide a standardized, robust, and highly available global infrastructure and enterprise core services. This position lies in the integration layer of the Service Integration and Management (SIAM) model, overseeing the transition to a SIAM operating model supporting an enterprise of military and civilian government end-users worldwide. The Transition Project Manager will help plan the transition of 600+ military treatment facilities into Service Provider roles, assisting with the adoption of this complex organizational change.

Specifically, during the Transition-In period this role is accountable for implementation performance and governance, including addressing issues and risks in implementation. The Transition Project Manager will be required to communicate progress to all stakeholders including the Program team and Government points of contact.

We have an immediate opening for a unique position as Technical Project Manager with engineering skills. This position is responsible for technical compliance as well as managing Project-Based-Business orders. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for review of customer’s specifications in comparison to KSB’s technical offer and creating corresponding submittal documentation used to gain customer’s approval and release to manufacture. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding the expected completion time and project financial performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for interpreting and clarifying the client's needs to realize their expectations within financial boundaries.   
  • Review the Contract Documents and apply executed terms. Participate in contract negotiations as needed.
  • Review municipal water and wastewater specifications and drawings (pump/mixer equipment and associated drives, speed control devices, controls, etc.) to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Preparation of technical submittal documents for customer approval including 2D CAD drawings and 3D designs.
  • Develop technical data for purchasing and operations.  
  • Consolidate as-sold budgets, control project execution budgets, and supervise project accounting. 
  • Communicate with customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Define project success criteria, disseminate to involved parties, and continually manage expectations throughout project life cycle.
  • Develop project plans, schedule and milestones. Track project milestones and deliverables on an ongoing basis and expedite as needed.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. 
  • Issue status reports to the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Conduct project “lessons learned” meetings and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Disposition NCRs and customer claims with a focus on fulfilling customer expectations. Gather technical evidence to support warranty claims with suppliers. 
  • Provide local or remote support as needed to field service team during startup / commissioning activities
  • Support sales team to secure contract awards as needed.
  • Process contracts through company material and resource planning software to ensure accurate data is available for reporting.
  • Other assignments that may be necessary to support the business.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience in industrial equipment manufacturing or construction. Experience with rotating equipment or municipal water treatment equipment is a plus. 
  • Experience on public bid processes and municipal infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Experienced or familiar with the best practices established by the Project Management Institute for Project Management. PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office competency is required. Experience with Adobe Acrobat is required. Experience with 3D design is preferred. 2D CAD as a minimum.

What You Will Be Doing

Negotiates contracts for owners and subcontractors.

Completes a job start-up summary to be input into the accounting system.

Produces change orders and invoices.

Qualifies and contacts subcontractors to bid specific trade items if required to do so. Sets date for subcontractors to submit bids.

Reads and interprets specifications and plans to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.

Examines and inspects work progress and construction site to verify safety and design specifications are met

Prepares the estimate for review by others (as requested by Branch Manager)

Obtains plans and specifications from owners/architects if appropriate. Reviews specs and plans prior to job walk to become familiar with the scope of work to be bid, including alterations

  • Work collaboratively with LCLD Event Planner to manage three Fellows group meetings per year, Leadership Lunches, Learning Experiences, and other supporting events and meetings
  • Work with the Director of Alumni to implement the Fellows Program curriculum to provide innovative, cutting edge content
  • Lead the design and execution of the Fellows Communication Plan
  • Manage and set benchmarks for the Fellows Program, to include surveying Fellows and LCLD Members, defining program success

The successful candidate should be a self-motivated leader and a team player that enjoys collaborating with others to create innovate leadership-oriented programming. This person must enjoy working with people, and communicating by phone, email and in-person. Travel as needed. An undergraduate degree is required. Applicants should reside in the Richmond, VA or Washington, DC metro areas. Tasks

  • Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.

Minimum Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a Degree.
  • 6 years experience in systems development, quality assurance or software testing within a financial services organization.
  • 2 years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience required.
  • Extensive experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies within agile projects.
  • Extensive experience in test data provisioning, data seeding and data mining.
  • Proven experience leading end to end testing validations from inception to production.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to write effective testing rules, standards and scripts that interpret test requirements, usage patterns and test design planning.
  • Extensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), JIRA and QTest applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Banking products and services.
  • Strong knowledge and application of U.S. banking laws and regulations.

Compensation

USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $88,200.00 - $158,900.00*( this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.

  • Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.

Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
