Scrum Master Latam

About The Role

The LATAM Salesforce Scrum Master will partner with our Sales Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service business partners to deliver cutting edge applications. The successful candidate will deliver the strategic digital health solutions to give the Boston Scientific LATAM business a key competitive advantage. This professional will be responsible for helping consult and shape complex user requirements/user stories and analyzes, plans, and implements software solutions that meet the business needs as a Scrum Master.

Your Responsibilities
  • Work with LATAM’s Salesforce Product Owner and Tech Lead/Dev team to enable the implementation of key initiatives across Latin America
  • Drives analysis to define integration plans for acquired systems and data
  • Be transparent to our business partners about development and grow business trust
  • Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and establishes effective and efficient processes, including prioritizing demand.
  • Has a detailed knowledge of business processes for sales & service and has suggestions or ideas on how to improve
  • Work collaboratively across IT and business functions, including legacy-BSC and acquired businesses
  • Escalate issues and project risks as they arise and elevate them to management
  • Lead an Agile-trained Salesforce team to deliver IT solutions through all phases of the software development life cycle from planning to hand off to production support
  • Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to by the project team. Must be able to be a voice of reason and authority and make tough calls
  • Drives or participates in all stages of system integration from gathering user stories/requirements and researching options, design, configuration/development and testing, to rollout and maintenance.
  • Appropriately communicates task status, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.
  • Assures quality of business systems by developing test specifications, executing test specifications, and implementing test plans, while working with project managers and business partners to improve integration processes.
  • Works closely with development teams (internal and external) to assure timely solutions are delivered according to the specifications and implementation needs of the business.
  • Manages communications amongst technical staff, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Identifies training needs of end users; develops and provides the necessary training to meet those needs.
  • Ensures that system & related processes meet all applicable compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to BSC Global Systems Methodology

Basic Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Extensive experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud)
  • Experience in implementing CPQ like solutions (Salesforce CPQ or APPTUS/CONGA) across LATAM
  • 5+ years of experience Information Technology projects
  • Hands on experience working with Salesforce as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master
  • Demonstrates courage in ensuring value-driven solutions are delivered
  • Consultative skills for business solutioning and business stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing testing of complex cloud-based applications
  • Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact.
  • Strong technical competencies and demonstrated leadership competencies is required with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, and presentation skills


  • B achelor’s degree required
  • Ability to partner with business divisions and functions in delivery
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Previous experience working in a cross-functional, highly matrixed business environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with leadership
  • A minimum of 5+ years of work experience with delivery and support of software development solutions and environments
  • Understanding and experience providing software solution analysis, project management, and testing leadership
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience delivering and maintaining systems within a highly regulated environment
  • Experience leading cloud-based project solutions preferred
  • SCRUM certification preferred
  • Salesforce Certification desirable
  • E xperience with data analytics
  • Experience with ERP integration
