This individual is responsible for developing and managing Partner Ecosystem Infrastructure Projects. This project can be global and involve other cross-functional teams. Additional responsibilities include: Defining and prioritizing projects, project management of key projects, and liaising with key stakeholders including senior staff members as well as Pega Partners.

What You'll Do At Pega

  • Define, refine, influence and lead the partner infrastructure services needed to support a programmatic, self-service, best in class experience for Pega Partners and the Pega people who support them.
  • Implement project management and reporting to meet project delivery commitments
  • Work with IT Managers to interlock projects, address issues, and fulfill user requirements
  • Manage cross functional projects related to our Partner Relationship Management platform

Who You Are

The ideal candidate should understand the channel/partner ecosystem and someone who is an accomplished project management professional who has a track record of defining and leading sophisticated IT Program Portfolios

What You've Accomplished

  • 8+ years of project management experience with IT projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management theory and team dynamics
  • Strong acumen in Business Process planning and management.
  • Experience working in a large global environment with multiple systems integrated as the delivery platform
  • Skill at managing cross functional projects where direct authority over the project resources does not exist; ability to effectively influence without authority
  • Knowledge and experience for software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of technologies and products
  • Ability to work with individuals of varying degrees of technical understanding; should be able to adjust communication style based on targeted audience
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with pressure and in stressful situations
  • Effective interpersonal skills including facilitation skills and conflict resolution

With a fluent understanding of risk management, you’re able to speak with senior management clearly and concisely both internally and on the client side to keep them informed on where issues stand

What You've Accomplished

  • 5 to 7 years of project/program management experience with IT software projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of program management theory and team dynamics
  • Strong process and methodology knowledge and experience for software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of delivery methodologies such as Scrum, RUP, Waterfall, Extreme, Agile and Six-Sigma
  • Ability to influence and navigate a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
  • Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects

What You've Accomplished

  • BA/BS Degree in Management or Computer Science
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in high tech, with a minimum of 3 years in an Operations or Program/Engagement leadership role preferably in a global environment
  • PMI or comparable certification preferred, but not required
