Role Description

You will be a Technical Program Manager in the Core Systems organization focused on Dropbox New Businesses and Store. This individual will drive the overall planning effort, write key technical specifications, and partner with key internal engineering teams as well as the product and design organizations in order to drive mission critical products inside Dropbox. You will be a thought leader and champion of the new businesses engineering team while also understanding the best way to integrate into the overall Dropbox engineering lifecycle. You will be able to assess the overall effectiveness of the products from the initial product design to regression and bug level escape in our product releases.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the overall planning effort, write key technical specifications, and partner with key internal engineering teams as well as the product and design organizations in order to drive awareness across all feature teams as well as marketing teams inside Dropbox. 
  • Thought leader and champion of the new businesses team while determining the best way to integrate into the overall Dropbox product suite.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management field
  • Ability to drive technology based solutions and architecture in partnership with engineering, product and design for new products as well as product growth. 
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to design and drive scalable process across a medium to large engineering organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive alignment amongst disparate stakeholders and hold others accountable for tasks without direct authority
  • Solid planning and project management skills
  • Self-starter, self-motivating - they are proactive about identifying risks, issues and gaps and taking ownership of solving problems
  • They will able to thrive in open / ambiguous environments
  • Proven experience in Agile project management. PSM/CSM certification is a plus.
  • Driving process at scale in medium to large software companies
  • Communication & Relationship building

This is an individual contributor role that requires a deep understanding of sales and marketing processes, exceptional analytical skills, bias toward action, and strong collaboration and communication skills.  It will directly impact the scalability of our HelloSign Go-to-Market organization and the acceleration of our sales business to help Dropbox achieve its vision and goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision for Marketing and Sales technologies for your domain and ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company vision
  • Bring a strong knowledge of Sales and Marketing technology capabilities to advise when existing system functionality can be leveraged vs. custom build options
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales and IT (who owns the technology stack including Salesforce.com) to build in-depth knowledge of our Go-to-Market systems landscape & business processes to better leverage our current tools and identify key opportunities for improvements
  • Collect requirements, formulate business cases and assist with prioritization and feedback collection
  • Assist with project scoping, business analysis & business testing from ideation to execution
  • Drive process and business systems improvements by crafting business requirements, managing subsequent cross-functional request intakes and execution of end-to-end processes for Marketing and Sales initiatives
  • Manage risks, communicate project updates including timelines, risks, changes, and dependencies
  • Lead as a cross-functional liaison to ideate scope and gather buy-in
  • Represent the needs of the Marketing and Sales teams in cross-functional process and project work

Requirements

  • 5+ years of previous Product Manager, Agile Product Owner, Business Owner, or Business Analyst experience specifically in the areas of marketing systems or related environments
  • Experience with sales and marketing systems, customer relationship management tools, and related systems
  • Experience in developing and/or executing sales and marketing technology programs, with experience around needs assessment and systems rollout in the sales and marketing space
  • Strong aptitude for marketing & sales methodologies, processes & project management
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to understand complex product functionality, design and technical issues, in order to drive the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions
  • Prior experience in Agile/sprint development workflows preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity, ability to roll sleeves up and get work done

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and scale cross-functional programs to improve operational efficiency, transform the recruiting and hiring experience and drive meaningful impact across the global recruiting organization
  • Evaluate and identify inefficiencies in end-to-end process workflows and provide data-driven recommendations that elevate team productivity
  • Design, own and maintain complex and concurrent projects and program plans that align with global recruiting priorities
  • Partner cross-functionally with global stakeholders and senior leaders to gain buy-in and ensure successful launch and simple adoption of new or improved processes and programs
  • Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Create clear, concise, and organized communication materials (e.g. policies & procedures, status updates, presentations) to ensure stakeholders are kept up-to-date on program health
  • Surface insights and trends in partnership with data analytics to influence global recruiting strategy and roadmap

Requirements

  • 5+ years in roles oriented around program or project management within Recruiting, Human Resources, or related field
  • Exceptional program and project management skills; highly organized, detail-oriented
  • Experience identifying problems, curating solutions and seeing through to implementation (0→1 ownership)
  • Experience vision setting, developing and executing strategy for large-scale projects or programs
  • Demonstrated success of collaborating with and influencing multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience in high-growth, rapidly changing, global operating environment. You can drive multiple complex projects forward at a time, and excel at time management
  • Outstanding communication skills: ability to quickly synthesize and repackage information; ability to translate high-level guidance and thoughts into coherent and well-reasoned outlines, drafts, or speaking points
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment under tight deadlines
