About This Job

The Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing Strategy is responsible for driving growth in local markets by leveraging customer insights to develop & execute on exceptional marketing strategies. They will also be responsible for developing and executing against the company’s multicultural marketing strategy.

What You Will Do – Essential Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and allocate focus and spending towards local markets to optimize overall marketing performance
    • Partner with insights and analytics team on local learning agenda, mix model insights, testing insights, reporting and market prioritization methodology
    • Consult with regional partners to monitor local market performance trends, competitive and market dynamics and consumer insights
    • Analyze all inputs to develop optimal budget allocation across markets including a strategy for addressing all markets as well as determining any necessary "focus markets"
  • Create local plans that drive local sales performance
    • Develop plans to address each market's unique opportunities in partnership with marketing, agency and field partners including marketing channel/media strategy and messaging strategy
    • Regularly monitor performance and adjust plans accordingly
    • Broadly communicate plans to all relevant stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business with multicultural customer segments
    • Develop creative and media briefs, leveraging relevant consumer insights, to support these consumer segments
    • Identify multicultural opportunities within priority local markets
  • Partner with internal and external partners to create and deploy marketing materials to support local and multicultural plans
    • Write strategic briefs to clarify the goals and messaging priorities of the executions and provide input throughout the development process
  • Develop & execute marketing strategies for 10-15 new store openings annually, ensuring that every store is set up to achieve sales expectations
    • Create role definition for regional managers with marketing and field

Purpose of the role

The Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing Strategy will lead high-performing, cross-functional teams (including internal and external agency partners from analytics, creative and media services, digital channels, project managers) to select priority markets, identify opportunities within these markets, develop strategies and putting compelling programs in market to drive awareness, consideration, traffic and sales/buys. They will also the company’s multicultural marketing strategy, develop and execute plans to increase market share with these priority customer segments.

They should possess strong knowledge of company functions, initiatives, and performance and demonstrate domain knowledge of and expertise in a range of disciplines, such as brand strategy, marketing communications, consumer insights/marketing research, agile marketing, and product marketing, in order to develop and execute on exceptional marketing strategies.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Ability to develop a marketing strategy supported by research and data.
  • Strategic, cross-functional thinker with experience influencing at all levels.
  • Experience with a range of marketing channels.
  • Experience in multi-cultural marketing.
  • Strong business acumen & understanding of performance metrics (ROI, incremental sales, etc.).
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think logically & creatively to develop solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a related field (e.g., brand strategy, brand management, product marketing or channel marketing)
  • Four-year undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, MBA preferred
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred

Brief Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for influencing and leading a Program of product and/or project teams, vendors, and consultants in the full life-cycle of cross-functional dual-track agile. This Associate will manage the Program for multiple product teams and/or large, complex related projects from discovery through delivery. They will also be responsible for managing one or more products or initiatives within their Program. This will include participating in the budgeting and resourcing process, overseeing Agile ceremonies, facilitating the planning process, development, and delivery. This Associate will also lead Program level work across multiple related projects/products /initiatives. The role will work closely with Senior Leadership, while supporting Delivery Managers and other roles supporting the Program body of work.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Aggregate team objectives into Quarterly Program Goals/Objectives and publish for visibility and transparency
  • Provide guidance and insights for implementing Program structure, including process improvements
  • Plan and facilitate Program workshops and regular Program level meetings / ceremonies
  • Collaborate with the Program team to prioritize and manage Program backlogs
  • Ensure value is delivered and tracked through agreed upon metrics
  • Coordinates / facilitates input on resource planning needs and constraint resolution
  • Report status of Program plans, health, progress, and impediments to Program Team and Stakeholders leveraging established venues / ceremonies
  • Maintain proper communication with all the technical and non-technical teams involved
  • Coordinates Program oversight and ensuring alignment with supporting Delivery Managers
  • Develop strong working relationship with other Program level resources (Sponsors, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, etc.)
  • Facilitate and support team to execute roles and responsibilities and usage of established tools and processes.
  • Drive Program-level continuous improvement
  • Coach and mentor others on team and Program level best practices, standards and methodology requirements.
  • Regularly inspects the Program to discover and address the major concerns
  • Track and drive resolution for escalated risks and dependencies, coordinates resolution with technology and business partner leadership

Qualifications
